Colchester Tekkers Community Youth FC believes that football should be open, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone. The club is committed to creating an environment where all participants, volunteers, players and supporters are treated with dignity, fairness and respect.

The Club Officials are responsible for promoting the values of equality and inclusion across all areas of the club. They will ensure this policy is applied consistently within coaching, team management, volunteering and club activities.

The Club will not tolerate discrimination in any form. No individual will be treated less favourably due to personal characteristics including gender, race, disability, religion, sexual orientation or any other protected characteristic.

5. Bullying, Harassment and Abuse

Any form of bullying, harassment, abuse or victimisation is unacceptable within the club. This includes behaviour that is discriminatory, offensive or intimidating, whether physical, verbal or online. Such behaviour will be treated seriously and addressed promptly.

6. Addressing Concerns

If incidents of discrimination, harassment or unfair treatment are reported, the club will investigate them promptly and fairly. Where misconduct is identified, appropriate action will be taken, which may include disciplinary measures in line with club and FA regulations.

7. Education and Awareness

The club is committed to improving awareness and understanding of equality within football. Where possible, we will support training, guidance and awareness initiatives to help players, coaches and volunteers promote an inclusive football environment.
